Sheerazi Chicken/ Badami Chicken Qorma



This recipe is also from the same photocopied binder. This recipe is actually for sheerazi chicken but since it uses raisins hence I changed it a bit to make the recipe as badami chicken (almond chicken)

Ingredients:

1/2 cup ghee
chicken one whole (about one kg) cut into pieces
yogurt 1 cup
salt 1 tsp
red chilli powder 1 tsp
black pepper powder 1 tsp
ginger paste 1 tbsp
onion 2 fried and grinded
almonds 1/4 cup
coriander powder 1 tsp

Fry chicken in ghee for 5 minutes. Then add yogurt, salt, chilli powders, ginger, onion and let it simmer and cook on low heat. When yogurt remains half then add almonds. When the gravy is about to finish then add 1/4 cup water and let it cook again for 2 minutes before you serve. Serve it with naan or sheermal.
