Chicken Ginger
I used a piece of chicken breast which I think was about a pound so I amended the recipe. But here is the actual recipe from photocopied binder:
Chicken 1 kg
ghee 1 cup
onion 2
yogurt 1.5 cup
salt 2 tsp
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp fresh ginger cut into pieces
green chillies fresh 2-3 cut into circles
Fry the chicken and onion in ghee for 5 minutes. Add yogurt, salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, coriander powder and ginger paste. When the gravy remains half add fresh ginger. When the gravy becomes dry add a bit of water and keep cooking it for 4 to 5 minutes until it almost dry. Chicken ginger is a dry type of dish. Serve it warm with naan.
