Nan Khatai



Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all purpose flour (plain flour or maida)
  • 2 tbsp fine sooji or semolina
  • 4 tbsp gram flour (besan)
  • Pinch of baking soda (a little less than 1/8 teaspoon)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almond (decoration)
  • 1 tablespoon sliced pistachio(decoration)
  • 2 egg white
Method
  1. Pre heat the oven to 375 degree.
  2. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Make small circular flat biscuit shapes and decorate them with almond and pistachio and bake them for 12 minutes or until done.
  4. Enjoy
